A great company, a great family that has been working with stainless steel for two generations. For over 60 years, LASI Srl has been the leading Italian and international company in the design and production of autoclaves, fermenters, tanks and crushing presses for the oenology sector, as well as brewing rooms and fermenters for the beer sector. All the plants produced are designed and manufactured with the utmost care, with the best technology and with the use of top quality, certified stainless steel of European origin only. Other sectors in which the company operates are agribusiness and chemicals. LASI invests every year in research and development: the fruit of this work are, for example, the international patents of the 'Mythos' pressure fermenter for red and white grapes and the 'Leonardo' mobile fulling system, as well as the new oenological presses, equipped with the most advanced technology. Excellence in manufacturing, the development of new technologies and the NOFORM Architecture Studio allow LASI to offer the best available technology and the possibility of developing remarkable projects. Men who in the first person have always responded with facts to the increasingly complex and refined requirements of the best international clients. Lasi in the heart of the Eiffel Tower Producing wine at a height of 57 metres is already unusual. But to install a wine cellar in the heart of one of the world's most famous monuments is even crazier! But the Winerie Parisienne was not afraid to take up the challenge. The souvenir sellers certainly have no idea what is going on above their heads. On the first floor of the Eiffel Tower, winemakers are preparing their first vintage at a height of almost 60 metres! The Winerie Parisienne and SETE (Société d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel) have joined forces to create the first functional wine cellar in the heart of the Iron Lady. Made-to-measure vats Until now, Winerie Parisienne was content to blend the 'best French terroirs' in its Parisian cellar. By producing its own organic vintage, it has taken an important step in its history. And on the Eiffel Tower to boot! But to achieve this, it was necessary to adapt to the conditions imposed by a location that has little in common with a Bordeaux château. The winery's partners, Lasi for the vats, Demptos and H&A Location for the barrels and casks and Gerfran for the bottles, thus created several custom-made elements. The tanks were specially designed to fit into the famous lifts of the Tower. A blessing in disguise, because, according to Julien Brustis, this special shape 'allows a gentle and slow fermentation, which preserves the fruit'.
